T. Jefferson Parker: The Famous and the Dead
Twice the winner of the Edgar Award for Best Novel, T. Jefferson Parker brings his Charlie Hood series to an end with The Famous and the Dead. Parker discusses and signs the newly released book today at Murder by the Book. Hood, an undercover ATF agent, is battling gun trafficking along the U.S.-Mexican border. With jeweled fillings in his teeth, he's known as by the gun runners as Charlie Diamonds. Bradley Jones, both a sheriff's deputy and an employee of the Baja Cartel, and the ever elusive Mike Finnegan, who knows much too much about both Hood and Jones, are among the loose ends Parker has to tie up before his story can come to an end.
