Tchaikovsky’s Romeo & Juliet
Conductor Laureate Hans Graf is at the podium for an all-Russian program including Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet. German-Canadian cellist Johannes Moser (seen above) performs Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations. Moser won the top prize in the 2002 Tchaikovsky Competition, as well as a special prize for his interpretation of the Rococo Variations. Tchaikovsky’s Pezzo Capriccioso for Cello and Orchestra and Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 3 complete the program.
