The Easter Orange Hunt
Leave it to the offbeat artistic visionaries at local treasure The Orange Show to put its own spin on an Easter tradition with the Easter Orange Hunt. Here, anxious kiddies will be on the prowl for (what else?) oranges! But dont worry, if your tyke has a sweet tooth, there will be candied treats planted throughout the maze of the Orange Show Monument as well. Other activities will include a very Orange Show-ish petting zoo with bunnies and dogs from Beagle Rescue. We predict cuteness will abound, and grandparents around the city should be receiving lots of digital photos in their inboxes soon. 1 to 3 p.m. 2402 Munger Street. For information, call 713-926-6368 or visit www.orangeshow.org. Free.
Sat., April 11, 1-3 p.m., 2009
