The Producers

Success comes in many forms. In The Producers, it comes along as the worst Broadway musical ever seen. When producer Max Bialystock and accountant Leo Bloom figure out they can make more money from a flop than a hit, they set out to mount the biggest flop they can. Everything goes awry when their designed-for-failure show, Springtime for Hitler, is an unexpected hit. 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. Sundays. Through August 2. The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, 800 Bagby. For information, call 713-861-7045 or visit $25 to $55.
Fridays-Sundays, 8 p.m. Starts: July 24. Continues through Aug. 2, 2009
