The Shining Feast
It's certainly hard to top what Alamo Drafthouse has planned for today: one of Stanley Kubrick's most popular films, a four-course meal and great micro-brewed beer. They've created a feast centered around the horror film The Shining and paired it all with Colorado's Breckenridge beers. The menu is appropriately bloody - after all, nothing goes better with a horrific ax murder than a main course of dry-aged beef tenderloin. 7:30 p.m. 1000 West Oaks Road. For information, call 281-920-9211 or visit www.drafthouse.com. $40.
