Weatherford Family Concert: Carnival of the Animals
Conductor Robert Franz introduces kids to the sounds of the animal world during today's Weatherford Family Concert: Carnival of the Animals. Written by Saint-Sans, Carnival gives voice to 14 different animals in as many movements. The program includes duets by pianist Esther Liao and her teacher, Houston Symphony pianist Scott Holshouser. The concert also features a special selection of chicken songs, from Ballet of the Unhatched Chicks to the "Funky Chicken Dance."
