WorldFest Houston: International Film and Video Festival
A previous Best Film Festival winner in our Best of Houston awards, WorldFest Houston: International Film and Video Festival is one of the highlights of the season for film buffs. Hundreds of indie films pour into the WorldFest offices throughout the year and a selection panel picks the entries and winners. This year's batch of films come from 33 countries and covers every genre from Spanish language shorts to horror features to documentaries. Among them is Lost for Words, a Stanley J. Orzel romance shot on location in Hong Kong, and Damir Catic's Her Cry: La Llorona Investigation, a thriller. Filmmakers in attendance for many screenings. Through April 21. For a full schedule, visit worldfest.org. $7.50 to $500.
April 12-21, 2013
