Brenda Chapa UT Austin graduate of international political economy and Earthshare Texas Fellow will be presenting on her recently completed semester-long policy research project for the Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance which included a literature review of assured water supply policies, laws, and regulations at the municipal, county, and state level in the Western United States compared to those policies within Texas. She will provide an outline of the comparative analysis, policy recommendations, and suggested areas for future research including recommendations for current and projected high-growth areas of Texas. Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance is a Texan by Nature Conservation Partner.

'Xu Bing: Word Alchemy' assembles more than 50 of Xu Bing’s most important woodcut prints, videos, drawings, installations, and other ephemera representing almost 50 years of the artist’s creative output. Starting with Xu’s early engagements with social realism and Western art historical traditions alike, the exhibition charts the evolution of the artist’s linguistic experiments which challenge and expand not only the history of Chinese landscape painting, but the canons of contemporary art. Black History Month, Museum Exhibits and Events, History

Buffalo Soldiers National Museum’s new rotating exhibition, The Blue Helmets in Action, focuses on the 93rd Infantry Division, the first African American combat division to be activated during World War II. The purpose of the exhibition is to educate visitors about this historically overlooked Army division.
