The Houston Area Women’s Center Young Leaders are at again with their 6th Annual Independence Day Bash! Save the date to join the group on June 27th from 6-9pm at Belle Station to honor the courage and strength of survivors who have established independence. This exciting fundraising event supports the amazing work facilitated through the Houston Area Women’s Center. Come out to mix and mingle with the best of best young leaders in Houston. This is a great opportunity to network with amazing professionals all while supporting a great cause. For $25, you receive a general admission ticket, which gets you two beers. If VIP is more your style, a $35 ticket price gets you the beer, valet parking, and a free raffle ticket. Are you a Houston area student interested in supporting the efforts of the center? Well, the Young Leaders have you covered with a $20 ticket price. The venue for the evening, Belle Station, is Midtown Houston’s newest bar and eatery. They confidently claim to offer the finest food, booze, and company. Who would want to miss this event? They’re currently seeking sponsors and silent auction donations in all denominations. All proceeds from the event support the Houston Area Women’s Center and its programs and services, which aid survivors of sexual and domestic violence and establishing self-sufficient lives free from the effects of their abuse and also educate community members on sexual and domestic violence awareness and prevention.
