It's another red carpet event over at MFAH. This time they're screening Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, based on the novel by Ben Fountain, about the private who becomes a war hero. His victory tour culminates at the halftime show of a football game and we realize what really happened through a series of flashbacks. Ambassador Edward P. Djerejian, director of the Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University, will introduce the film and MFAH has invited the film's producer, Stephen Cornwell, to attend (fingers crossed). It's presented in partnership with the Baker Institute. Author Ben Fountain, who hails from Dallas, will also be in attendance for a post-film discussion.
