Brahms' Symphony No. 4

Wunderkind composer and conductor Alex Prior made headlines when at 17 he became the Seattle Symphony’s youngest assistant conductor ever, and now at 24 he’s stopping by Houston before taking up a post as Chief Conductor in Edmonton. Prior is joined by the Silver Medalist of the 2017 Ima Hogg competition, and the program concludes with Brahms’ Symphony No. 4, one of the composer’s most emotionally powerful works.
