Want to get mentally and physically prepared to take on the New Year? Come to a special program, “Fitness for Mind and Body,” at Fort Bend County Libraries’ George Memorial Library on Saturday, May 6, beginning at 10:30 am, in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 1001 Golfview in Richmond. Courtney Bryant, Family and Consumer Science Extension Agent from the Prairie View A&M University Cooperative Extension Office, will talk about different things one can do to relieve stress, become more active, and set goals for the coming year. Learn how yoga, meditation, and even laughter can help one become better prepared to tackle daily tasks big and small. The program is free and open to the public.
