7th Annual “Let’s Talk” Luncheon Raises Awareness for Aphasia
Houston, Texas - March 1, 2017, - Houston Aphasia Recovery Center (HARC) is thrilled to announce their 7th Annual, “Let’s Talk” Luncheon. It is being chaired by wonderful group of women, Emily Burguiéres Dalicandro and Emily Conner Hempel, and Honorary Chairs are Mary Kay and Gilbert Gaedcke, and Elaine and Fella Knight, Jr. The event is slated for Thursday, March 30th, 11:30 am – 1 p.m., at River Oaks Country Club
This year, our Luncheon's featured Speaker is Lee Corso, ESPN’s College Gameday and Master of Ceremony will be Marc Vandermeer, the Voice of the Texans.
Corso never imagined he would have another career that would last as long as the 27 years he spent as a football coach. Corso has now been ESPN’s College Gameday broadcaster for 28 years, where he continues to fulfill his passion for sports and coaching. Along with Lee Corso, Marc Vandermeer, the Voice of the Texans will be the Master of Ceremony.
All proceeds will benefit the Houston Aphasia Recovery Center (HARC), HARC is the first and only non-profit therapeutic wellness center for persons with aphasia in the Greater Houston area. HARC provides a wellness program, education, advocacy, and resources for people with aphasia, their caregivers and the Houston community.
