Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene along with the University of Houston Bauer College of Business, Financial Planning Association of Houston, Houston Lawyers Referral Service and others will host the first Harvey Financial Recovery Boot Camp and provide one-on-one consultations for attendees affected by Hurricane Harvey.
The Harvey Financial Recovery Boot Camp will be held at the University of Houston’s Cemo Hall, 4746 Calhoun Road, on Saturday, November 11. The event will include an opening session at 8:30 a.m. with breakout sessions covering finance, taxes, real estate, financial planning, legal and insurance starting at 10 a.m. A concluding panel discussion and Q&A with attendees will begin at noon.
The gathering will feature Jim McIngvale, owner of Gallery Furniture, as its keynote speaker.
Mark Woodroof, partner of Gary Greene, will address attendees on the short- and possible long-term impact of Harvey from a residential real estate perspective, providing insight for those whose homes were impacted by the storm as well as those looking to buy or sell a home in the coming year.
