The Woodlands Children’s Museum is bringing the excitement and glitter of New Year’s Eve to little ones this holiday season in a safe, family-friendly setting. During the museum’s High Noon Countdown parties on Sunday, Dec. 31, children can count down the seconds leading up to a balloon and confetti drop — once at the stroke of noon and again at 3 p.m. The two parties, which also will feature music, New Year’s hat-making and other special activities, are scheduled for 10 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. at 4775 W. Panther Creek Dr., Suite 280. The museum will be open only for the parties that day. High Noon Countdown is included in the museum’s regular $6 admission price for children age 1 and older, but the museum recommends that families purchase their admissions in advance.
