Are you curious about the Zumba fitness craze, but not sure if it’s for you? Fort Bend County Libraries’ Sugar Land Branch Library will present an introductory demonstration, “Zumba for Adults” on Friday, April 21, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 550 Eldridge.
Cida Moore, a group-fitness instructor and certified personal trainer, will present a basic introduction and demonstration of this popular Latin-inspired dance-fitness program that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Those attending the program will learn basic Zumba movements and how to stay physically fit with regular exercise.
Those attending this program should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers, and should bring a bottle of water.
This program is made possible through the generous support of the Friends of the Sugar Land Branch Library. Proceeds from the Friends of the Library book sales and annual membership dues help to underwrite the costs of special programming and various cultural events at the library.
The program is free and open to the public. For more information, call the Sugar Land Branch Library at 281-238-2140 or the library system’s Public Information Office at 281-633-4734.
