Life drawing is an essential tool for artists across media and disciplines. Join Houston Center for Contemporary Craft to fine tune your technique in this workshop led by instructor Rajab Ali Sayed. Explore how master ceramic artist Edward Eberle incorporates figures into his artworks, currently featured in the main gallery. Practice your sketching methods with a live model, and experiment with line, tones, shapes, and perspectives. No prior experience is needed. Pre-registration for this workshop is required. Registration fee is $15 per person and includes instructor and model fees. Participants should bring their own paper and drawing supplies. The class is for adults only (age 18 and over) and requires a minimum of 12 participants to hold. Register here. About the Instructor Rajab Ali Sayed holds an MFA in painting from University of Houston; a BFA in painting from National College of Arts in Lahore, Pakistan; and was a Fullbright Exchange Scholar at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He has taught drawing at the University of Houston and Art League Houston, and his work has been included in numerous shows throughout Houston, Texas, and Pakistan.
