We talk so much about our beer, we sometimes forget about our old pal Root Beer. No longer! This year, National Root Beer Float Day falls on a Sunday, but that’s not going to stop us from opening up our (Root) Beer Hall for an afternoon of family-friendly fun.
We’ve always said the only way to improve our Root Beer is to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We’ll be doing plenty of that on National Root Beer Float Day. Our Classic Root Beer Floats – made with local Fat Cat Creamery Mexican Vanilla ice cream – will be available, along with a some special variations. Every Root Beer Float purchase will come with a limited edition souvenir Root Beer plastic cup.
We’ll also be debuting our Root Beer Snob shirts in toddler sizes and serving a limited food menu (until 4:00 PM) with kid friendly options. Don’t worry, parents. We’ve got full grown humans covered too with special beer floats and our full lineup on tap.
There is no admission for National Root Beer Float Day – it’s free and open to the public from noon to 5:00 PM. Bring the family out for a Sunday afternoon!
