Black Sabbath---and the colony collapse disorder of an enormous hydroponic biosphere filled with pot plants, and the fact that Asbestosdeath left little room on a black t-shirt for graphics---gave us the crucial elements of Sleep. Sleep in turn gave us most of the slow metal oozing around the world today, not the least important of which were OM and the slightly more upbeat High on Fire, each comprising separate factions of Sleep. Though the reunited slow metal juggernaut hits town too late to properly celebrate 420, the sentiment will obtain nonetheless.
