The Supernova is Station Theater's signature improv form in which stories and discussion are molded and reshaped into original improvised content. The Supernova cast invites a special guest each week to tell true, personal stories in a one-on-one interview format. Guests vary week-to-week, ranging from traveling comedians, local celebrities, or even selected audience volunteers! Cast: Alison Blanche Coriell, Calan Lambert, David Toscano, Gino Sandoval, Jason McElweenie, Jon Myles, Laura Helmers, Nicole Nodarse Opening for the Supernova is Lotería - a show where everything including the performers is left completely up to the bingo-caller's chance. This week, we're welcoming Justin Corbett and George Tripsas from Gray Bear Comics! Justin Corbett is the host of the comedy podcast all about comic books, Comical Podcast! He's been reading and collecting comics for the majority of his life, but over the last three years of doing the podcast, his enthusiasm for them has grown. Reading nearly every title released and interviewing several prominent creators led him to want to write his own books, and now he is! George Tripsas has been writing screenplays since he was a kid, and only recently decided to transfer those writing skills to the comic book medium. He is a lifelong comic book fan, and a huge cinephile. George is also a podcaster and cohosts The Metal Geeks podcast. It was through podcasting that he met his writing partner Justin, and formed Gray Bear Comics.
