Are you a high school student with a talent for music, or dance, or mime? Whatever your talent is, share it with the world at Fort Bend County Libraries’ “Teens Got Talent” variety show at the Sugar Land Branch Library on Saturday, July 15, from 1:30 to 4:30 pm, in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 550 Eldridge. This event will showcase high school students – aged 14 to 19 -- with all types of performing talent, from singing and dancing, to rock bands, solo musicians, magicians, and much more! Prizes will be awarded. Auditions for the event will take place on the following dates: • Wednesday, June 21, from 1:00 to 5:30 pm; • Friday, June 23, from 1:00 to 5:30 pm. Entry forms and auditions must be completed by Friday, June 23, at 5:00 pm. Performances are limited to 3 to 5 minutes, and they must be family-friendly; profanity and sexual content are not allowed. Contestants will be judged on their creativity, their physical presence, the level of difficulty of their performance, and the overall impact of their show. The event is free and open to the public.
