The Andy Allen Clays for a Cure Challenge began in 2014 when ten-year-old Andy Allen relapsed with leukemia after fighting the same blood cancer the first time at the age of two. The relapse diagnosis came just a few months short of the doctors declaring Andy a cancer survivor (cancer free for five years).
The great news is Andy successfully finished chemo in 2016 and BEAT CANCER for a second time! It is our hope that Andy will remain cancer free for the rest of his life and that other blood cancer patients will have the chance to live thanks to the research provided through funds raised at the Andy Allen Clays for a Cure Challenge. Proceeds from the event benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
