The French Farm was founded in 1997 by Gisele Oriot, originally from Lyon, France. Gisele settled in Houston, Texas, only to realize she missed the delicious gourmet delicacies and quality kitchenware that she grew up with and that were, at the time, unavailable in America. Each trip home to France, Gisele started bringing olive oils, vinegars, salts, honeys, mustards, and jams back for herself and close friends. This quickly went from hobby to business, and The French Farm was born. Today, Gisele and The French Farm team still search for the best of Europe, bringing you the finest imported foods and accessories, all carefully crafted by small, family owned businesses using traditional recipes and techniques. The French Farm imports products that contain only the highest quality ingredients and materials, have exquisite taste, and are packaged beautifully.
