The UTHealth Stomp Out Stroke Festival will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017, from 9 am - 3:30 pm at Discovery Green to kick off stroke awareness month. Learn lifesaving information about stroke and brain health. Enjoy free health screenings, fitness & nutrition demonstrations and family-friendly entertainment including live ice sculpting by Reverend Butter and performances by Ballet Folklorico Azteca de Houston and Collective Sound Cloggers. Meet our emcee, José Griñan, Fox 26 anchor and Houston's CLUTCH and TORO. Kids enjoy the children's zone featuring activities to promote stroke awareness and brain health. All day family fun including a moonwalk, face painting, bubble fun, hula hoop, giveaways, door prizes and music by DJ Pancake! It's fun for the whole family.
