Vox Culture’s fourth annual Vox Local Arts Mixer (V+LAM) is just around the corner. The event will take place at Axelrad from 6:00PM-9:00PM on Thursday, October 5th.
This fun and diverse arts mixer celebrates both established and new and fast-rising names in the Houston arts scene. The mixer allows Houstonians to engage with painters, photographers, poets, dancers, film groups, and more. Artists are selected for V+LAM through their contributions towards Vox Culture's advocacy projects. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase any work exhibited by featured artists, with 100% of those proceeds remaining with the artist.
V+LAM tickets are free and the event is open to the general public. This year, guests also have the additional option to purchase a Harvey Arts Recovery Fund donation ticket for $5 via Eventbrite, with all ticket proceeds going towards the fund - dedicated to helping artists affected by Hurricane Harvey. All ticket holders will be eligible for happy hour prices for select drink items at Axelrad.
Happy hour prices on select drinks will be honored by Axelrad throughout the evening. To obtain the happy hour prices guests must present their ticket at Axelrad’s bar.
Artist line-up so far includes: TX Salsa Congress; United Cultures/Culturas Unidas; Iconoclast Artists; HAAPI Film Festival; Art Car Brand Apparel; Jack & Jackson Potts; Laluu Hu; Romeo Clay Robinson; and Beau Tardy.
V+LAM entry tickets are free. Harvey Arts Recovery Fund donation tickets are $5.00 per person. RSVP IS REQUIRED.
