AC/DC have been continuously melting faces around the world for four sweaty headbanging decades. The Australian boogie-rock band really has everything you would ever want from a rock 'n roll band and has stayed steadfastly devoted to making sure you either got laid or drunk, and hopefully both. Early AC/DC offered seedy Chuck Berry-ripping glimpses into the life of lead singer Bon Scott, with lead guitarist Angus Young bounding about like an overgrown Damien. After Scott's untimely death in early 1980 and the installation of his replacement Brian Johnson, the band has reached godhead status. The line-ups tribute to Scott, Back In Black , has sold nearly fifty million copies worldwide and can still be found in the possession of everyone from age five to ninety-five. Today the band soldiers on as torchbearers of the true rock spirit, bringing young bands like tonight's openers The Answer on the road as heirs to their throne.
