The National Museum of Funeral History is way more fun than it gets credit for, and proves that in its newest exhibit, “The Rural Family Funeral Home.” After all, who isn’t at least sort of interested in what happens when they’re kickin’ up daisies? This exhibit examines what led up to today’s funeral industry. Traditions, tools, recipes for embalming and all sorts of other historical goodies are available to satisfy your morbid side, and we’re sure you’ll revel in the old photographs of the industry’s creepiest things. It’ll be more funeral fun than you can shake an embalming stick at.
