G Gallery introduces the University of Houston's new art professors

After a change in the G Gallery's scheduling left a slot open on the exhibit calendar, gallery director and artist Wayne Gilbert happily added the group show "Transfusion." "This show is an introduction show for the new associate professors at the University of Houston," Gilbert says. The exhibit includes sculpture by Jillian Conrad and Margarita Cabrera, along with digital media by Abinadi Meza. The opening reception is 6 to 9 p.m. November 7. Regular viewing hours are noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays. Through November 28. 301 East 11th Street. For information, call 713-869-4770 or visit www.ggalleryhouston.com. Free.
