Join Mother's Day International District's 1st Annual 2k walk and 5k run "For the Future" to raise money for the children from low income family within Alief School District and supporting their school violence prevention/education efforts on campus. Bring your family to join our Mother's Day event and celebrate the special women in your life. Come for the fun and ready to be photographed. We will email you the photograph with free of charge. Give mom the gift of family this Mother's Day at the Alief Amity Park. Enjoy live, FREE entertainment during the entire event, includes live band music, professional dance performance, and lots of fun games. Games include goldfish scooping, ring tossing and more. Game tickets are sold separately. Everyone is invited to join our after race BBQ party. All the race participants will get one free meal with ticket provided for thanking their donation and participation. Be sure to stick around afterwards for food, pictures, games and music.
