Not your typical Tex-Mex, this cozy, warm and friendly place just off Montrose serves some of the most creative Mexican food in town. Since Bocados is located in an old house, there are lots of little, intimate rooms. Owners Terry Flores and Lily Hernandez were friends in college before opening this place in 1997. Girls' Night Out is held the second Wednesday of each month and can get rowdy. The tacos al carbon are some of the best anywhere, as are their red snapper tacos. Ceviche and empanadas also make for great apps. The almond-crusted shrimp and tortilla soup are not to be missed.
