Additional Information: Connecting Minds by Chase for Business is a 5-part event series that occurs monthly from August – December 2016 in Houston and Miami. The goal of the program is to drive growth for Hispanic business owners by focusing on how the right relationships can change everything. The series concept was founded on research findings from Stanford’s State of Latino Entrepreneurship research that found 36 percent of Hispanic-owned businesses are either stagnant or shrinking, while 65 percent are growing. The study also found 77 percent feel mentorship is “Critical” or “Very Helpful” yet only 34 percent have a mentor and most are largely unaware of government funds and programs.
