Everything at El Paraiso is made from scratch, including its potent salsa. And while standard Tex-Mex is the order of the day, they do have some dishes not seen in every Tex-Mex joint, like their machacado (scrambled eggs with dried beef). Two other dishes to look out for: the entomatadas, consisting of three enchiladas with your choice of filling, covered in a tomato-onion sauce, and the asado de puerco, pork tips cooked in a peppery red sauce.
