The Magnolia Bar & Grill opened in 1983 during Houston's Cajun restaurant boom. And it's one of the last restaurants of that era that still serves authentic Cajun food. The gumbo has a spicy bite, and the fish is incredibly fresh. It's also a great place for oysters on the half shell and boiled crawfish.
