Long a mainstay on Bissonnet, this divey staple recently got a facelift, but thankfully the spirit remains the same. You can still order up one of their torrid tea-and-liquor concoctions, which — don't ask us how we know — are more than worth the price if you are on a boozing budget. The couches and televisions make this a great bar to disappear in on sleepy game nights or to bring a gaggle of drinking buddies. This isn't a flashy bar, and the fratty vibe remains despite the spit shine, but we have found that anyone, regardless of level of schooling, is more than welcome.
