The original location of a nine-part chain that extends to Austin, Pho Saigon has the feel of a Montrose dive and boasts some of the lowest prices in town for Vietnamese favorites. The namesake pho, or noodle soup, can be ordered with various cuts of meat, from fatty brisket to chicken to traditional eye round steak.Egg rolls and spring rolls are often ordered to-go, as are the vermicelli bowls served with fish sauce & fresh herbs. Vietnamese iced coffee, a strong brew mixed with plenty of sweetened condensed milk, is a popular item.
