This popular taco truck, usually parked at the corner of the West Alabama Icehouse, is a go-to spot for many chefs working in the area, chefs who praise the tasty, Mexican-style tacos for great preparation and fresh ingredients. Though the lengua and barbacoa tacos are most often cited as the things to order, Tierra offers the full complement of pastor, chicharron, pollo, and more, as well as quesadillas and tortas. Beware of the hot sauce, which is really spicy. Recently named one of the 10 Best Foodie Spots in Houston in USA Today, the truck is open until 11 p.m. on most nights, the perfect pit stop for a quick bite and a beer.
