This counter-service, take-out bagel shop in River Oaks appears to have years' worth of grime ground into the floor, ceilings and walls. People still line up for breakfast and lunch, though, because it's one of the only spots in town you can get an authentic bagel. The shop features a variety of styles and flavors of house-made cream cheese, plus bagel sandwiches and regular deli sandwiches. The bagel dogs - bagels wrapped around kosher sausages, jalapeno sausages or mini sausages - are extremely popular and are often in short supply toward closing time.
