The Melting Pot

Fondue has fallen in and out of fashion ever since the 1960s. It's currently trendy enough, however, to support this chain of Melting Pot locations in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Houston's location is nestled in an upper Westheimer strip center. The typical feast spans four courses, including a cheese fondue appetizer. For dessert, you can dip bits of brownie, pound cake, cheesecake or fruit into the Yin and Yang, a pleasing mixture of dark and white chocolate shaped like the Chinese symbol.
