Bradley's Fine Diner is one of three restaurants James Beard Award-winning chef Bradley Ogden owns in Houston (the other two being Funky Chicken and the upcoming Ogden Pour Society), but it might be the most confusing. It seems torn between offering upscale cuisine, as it did when it first opened, and more meat-and-potatoes-style diner food, which the kitchen is putting out now. It's not bad, but it's not exciting either. The best bets are the pot roast and any of the desserts, which are always fresh and seasonal. BFD makes all its breads and pastries in-house and has a great cocktail and wine list. If you're not sure about dinner, just stop by for drinks and dessert, which are sure to satisfy.
