This venerable East End stand offers breakfast tacos that aren’t weighed down with fat. Stand in line, choose your breakfast or lunch tacos from an extensive array and thank your lucky stars you live in Houston, where cheap tacos are plentiful. Don’t come here for the decor; just enjoy the sight of the many different people who eat here. The homemade tortillas are always fresh and hot, but be warned: Some of the fillings can get a little spicy. Menudo is available on weekends.
