Cafe Moustache - Closed

507 Westheimer Houston, TX 77006 | Montrose | 713-524-1000

Location Description:

The interior has barely changed from its former incarnation as So Vino, but that's about the only thing this Montrose-area French restaurant - now called Café Moustache, a reincarnation of owner Manfred Jachmich's former French restaurant from the 1980s - has going for it. Menus and patrons both seem to have been imported directly from the '80s as well, with tired standbys like Niçoise salad and trout almondine making up most of the uninspired menu. Fortunately, the wine is still good and fairly priced, and well worth enjoying in the sleek space.
