College Station import Grub Burger Bar is a welcome addition to the competitive Houston gourmet burger scene. With patties made from a mixture of brisket and Angus chuck ground in-house and buns made fresh every hour, Grub's attention to detail sets the small chain apart from other fast burgers in town. Each burger -- from the Lockhard Legend with onion rings and barbecue sauce to the Ghost burger with every spicy thing on the menu -- is well-balanced, with just the right amount of charred beefy patty, mild cheese and punch of acid from one of the many sauces. The buns are a bit too thick and can take away from all the good stuff packed inside. Unlike most burger joints, CityCentre's Grub also offers great salads and vegetarian options. And don't forget a spiked milkshake!
