House of Pies

3112 Kirby Houston, TX 77098 | Lower Shepherd-Kirby | 713-528-3816

Location Description:

This old-fashioned diner, open 24/7, serves big breakfasts and simple comfort food all day long. After hours, it fills up with gays and goths. Soups, sandwiches (try the tuna-and-cheese melt), salads and decent burgers are the mainstays here, along with the pies - hence the name. The friendly and talkative staffers are happy to recommend their favorite pies - among the most popular are fruit, cream meringue and cheesecake.
