This old-fashioned diner, open 24/7, serves big breakfasts and simple comfort food all day long. After hours, it fills up with gays and goths. Soups, sandwiches (try the tuna-and-cheese melt), salads and decent burgers are the mainstays here, along with the pies — hence the name. The friendly and talkative staffers are happy to recommend their favorite pies — among the most popular are fruit, cream meringue and cheesecake.
