The oldest continually operating bar downtown and arguably in the city, Leon’s has more character than Mickey Rourke and Gary Busey combined. Antique crystal chandeliers hang over the long mahogany bar, which competes for space in the long and narrow front room with a shuffleboard set. Behind the bar is a game room dominated by a small pool table and several stuffed critters harvested by the owner’s family on hunting trips. Lately it's been attracting a younger crowd who are sick of the majority of downtown haunts, so expect a feistier crowd than usual.

i went friday after work and the cute bartender and bartender girl were so cool, they gave me a free shot, lol and i was asking them questions about being a bartender and i met the owner, they maded me feel so welcome, i finally found a local bar to check out, im going by there again in two weeks, -
I love this bar.. It is a great place to grab a pop after work. They also play Lucero and that rules.
