Nara Sushi & Korean Kitchen

2800 Kirby Drive Houston, TX 77098 | Lower Shepherd-Kirby | 281-249-5944; 713-439-1000

Location Description:

Despite an elegant dining room of dappled grays and whites and pleasant service, there is little to recommend Korean-Japanese fusion restaurant Nara Sushi & Korean Kitchen to anyone who loves and is experienced with either cuisine. While there are the occasional hits, such as the sophisticated octopus usuzukuri and the excellent open-faced soup dumplings with Duroc pork, there are far too many misses to justify taking a chance here. The only diners who will perhaps benefit from a visit to Nara are those looking for a beginner's introduction to Korean cuisine and young partygoers seeking to fill up on sushi rolls before a big night out.
