World-class paella made with housemade chorizo is the main attraction here. At dinnertime, they turn out another giant pan of fresh paella every 40 minutes. But there’s also a great selection of hot and cold tapas and some interesting Spanish wines on hand. Spanish-style guitarists provide live entertainment on weekends.

I love seafood and paella but it was a big disappointment at Rioja when I brought some friends and family for a night out. The giant pan out front was big enough to cook whole animals in but nobody could tell me how much paella came per order. I finally ordered an order for each person for around 13 dollars per person and had a small plate brought out for us to share. Equally divided it was about 2 and a half spoons of rice with a piece of shrimp for most of the people. I don't mind if something is expensive or a small quanitity but I want to know before I buy. I don't think I will be back.
