Roots Bistro - Closed

507 Westheimer Road Houston, TX 77006 | Montrose | 713-524-1000

Location Description:

Although chef German Mosquera is vegan and many of the dishes at his charming Montrose bistro are vegan or vegetarian as well, don't let that fool you: The man also knows his meat, as seen in dishes such as a sirloin-topped pizza or goat pancetta over a bed of wilted greens. But the vegetable plates are really what shines here, including sauteed kale, baby carrot-infused polenta, and a Swiss chard-potato hash for brunch with two fried eggs on top.
