Shakespeare Pub

14129 Memorial Houston, TX 77079 | Memorial | 281-497-4625

Location Description:

Literally tucked away behind another shop on Memorial, this dimly lit saloon is a west-side haven for music lovers. Live music graces Shakespeare's intimate stage every night except Monday, climaxing in the bar's Sunday-night blues jam. A pair of pool tables, giant Texas flag over the stage and a smattering of photos and signs on the walls create a proper ambience for sudsing away an evening. That should be easy, because the horseshoe-shaped bar doles out a 20-ounce "beer of the month" for a meager three bones.
