The Burger Guys - Closed

706 Main St. Houston, TX 77002 | Downtown/ Midtown | 713-223-4897

Location Description:

The Burger Guys is an established part of Houston's healthy handful of bright-burning burger stars with a singular vision for over-the-top yet surprisingly thoughtful burgers, dogs and shakes. Open since last fall, the downtown site on Main offers a light-rail-friendly location that makes it an easy choice for downtown workers and those farther afield. Standouts include the Sonoma burger with its bacon, avocado and arugula topping; the Buffalo , a mash-up of everything buffalo-wing-related except the chicken; and the fries coated with an extra sprinkle of kosher salt. The milkshakes have soft, butter-fatty chunks in them; try the Ten Cup Chocolate, and there's also seasonal shakes. If you go the hot dog route, choose the Chicago, dragged through the garden with peppers, pickles, tomatoes and relish.
